.. Winter has come..Winter shall bring us to demise...We're WINTER NIGHTFALL the most annoying, piss-inducing, torment-causing doom metal band the Philippines has ever conceived.Even the god damn name is irritating!
While a lot of people goes on and chase the bandwagon, WN goes against the flow, against the norms infusing every single thing that can piss off even the most metal purist there is (depends on the listener really).
If you're not pissed yet with what you read cool, read on friend, but if you are then we strongly suggest you don't continue.
WN is a collective of posers who loves alcohol, porn and a shit load of doom metal. all thoughts converged to play a metal subgenre very widely neglected and underrated in this island nation, Doom metal.
When no one believed and the Philippine Doom metal cause is all but lost, we stood and went against all norms, not arrogant about these remarks, we were not the first pinoy doom metal act, we really arent, but WN laid down the foundations for this seemingly lost subgenre and of course, pissing a lot of people in the process, we're not apologetic about that, it's what we do and it's easy to piss people off rather than arming ourselves with the attitude and go babbling how good we are, how early we began and how many times we googled our influences and list them in yellow papers and go about bragging "hey dude! fuck you! you know this? you know that?oh you dont! fuck you!"
So why play when everyone gets so pissed, they'll just go to the CR and jerk off? Thats the point, thats exactly the point my friend.
So you think you've heard the worst music? The crappiest of crap that it can even beat the pain of getting a screwed up tattoo? We tell you, you're going to fuckin' enjoy us
WNs sound to describe it is the mix of things that can piss even a wild and hungry tiger (or a lion if thats what you like), Slowed down drop tuned riffs, Lung and ass off vocals, feedback and synth noises paired with lyrics of hope, salvation and faith, now talk about counter flowing.
If up to this paragraph you managed to read without getting really pissed off, then congratulations dude, we're buying you a beer or two. But if you do got pissed then its' not our problem, you've been warned.
Remember: PISSING PEOPLE OFF WITH BAD MUSIC IS EASY, BUT TRYING TO CONVINCE THEM YOURE GOOD AND EVERYTHING HAS ALL OF THE CONS.
